Job Title: Legal Secretary
Location: Chester
Salary: Competitive and dependant on experience

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality legal advice in a range of legal services through talented and professional employees. Working as part of our team, the successful candidates will provide high standards of customer service and support to both colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure Fee Earners time is effectively utilised through your secretarial support
• Produce and manage documents with care and accuracy
• Maintain client relationships through effective and appropriate communication
• Manage and maintain both electronic and manual files
• Carrying out financial tasks relating to matters and provide support with the billing process

Key Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience working as a legal secretary essential, preferably in conveyancing
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in Audio Typing and the ability to type quickly and accurately
• An eye for detail and quality
• Good communication skills, both on the telephone with clients and in person
• Good time management and the ability to prioritise
• Flexibility and to enjoy working as part of a team

Job Title: Family Solicitor 
Location: Chester
Salary: Competitive and dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities:
• Depending on experience, you will manage your own caseload of private Family matters from start through to completion, as well as assisting on higher-value matters
• Your caseload will include a mix of private family work 
• You will work closely with clients to build and maintain lasting relationships
• You will also have the opportunity to assist in the business development and networking activities of the department and wider firm

Key Skills and Experience:
• The ideal Family Solicitor will be from NQ level up to 3 years' PQE and have experience handling a private family caseload
• You should have a strong focus on client care

Job Title: 

Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Chester
Salary: 
£17,500 – £23,500p.a. + benefits d.o.e.


Expert Conveyancing Assistant for thriving legal practice in beautiful Chester
As our Conveyancing Assistant, you will support the team with onboarding new clients. This role has plenty of scope for development and the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to help shape the role moving forward.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Supporting fee earners in the provision of quotes
• Opening new client files within the team while ensuring all relevant procedures are adhered to
• Acting as the main point of contact for the client during the onboarding process
• Supporting the compliance officer with CQS accreditation and lender panels administration
• Providing secretarial support as required

Key Skills and Experience:
• Experience of working within a busy conveyancing team.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills (on the telephone and in person)
• Excellent time management & ability to prioritise
• A flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team
• A working knowledge of Ochresoft Intelliworks would be an advantage
