Cullimore Dutton Appoints Trainee Solicitors22-Dec-2016

Double promotion confirmed as part of our strategy for growth.

Cullimore Dutton Solicitors, has appointed two Trainee Solicitors as we continue to strengthen our Private Client and Commercial Property teams.

Alice Daniels, a former Politics and International Relations graduate from Loughborough University and Ross Alexander, an Accountancy and Finance graduate from Lancaster University, have both completed their Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Now the ambitious young trainees are undertaking a Professional Skills Course as they advance towards fully qualified Solicitor status by 2018.

Alice said: “I am fully immersed in the work of our busy Wills, and Estates department. The personal contact I have with clients, for which the firm has an enviable reputation, is especially enjoyable. Managing a client’s affairs cuts across several departments so I’m frequently in touch with my colleagues in the Residential and Commercial Property teams as well as our Independent Financial Advisor.”

Ross added: “After university I concluded accountancy wasn’t the career for me, so I did a GDL conversion course at the University of Law in Chester. Being a Trainee Solicitor in the firm’s busy Commercial Department is hugely rewarding, especially working on the many bigger transactions we handle around Utilities.”

Managing Director, Andrew Wright, commented: “Our growth strategy is founded on developing and nurturing top young legal talent and fully supporting our Trainee Solicitors with a clear professional development pathway. We have two exceptionally bright and ambitious trainees in Alice and Ross who want to build a stable career with a well-established law firm with a modern approach. We wish them every success.”
