Chester Solicitor – High Court Enforcement – Enforcement of Tribunal Awards
Thursday, April 19th, 2012
In 2012-11, 1499 Tribunal awards and ACAS settlements were passed to High Court Enforcement Officers to enforce. Of these, 28% were paid in full, 3% were paid in part, 4% were paid in instalments, 3% were ongoing and 10% were being investigated further.
51% were not enforced, primarily because the debtor (usually the employer) had become insolvent or had simply become ‘uncontactable’.
