Department: Commercial Law Team
Position: Director, Head of Commercial Litigation
Year Qualified: 1984
Hello, I joined Cullimore Dutton in 1984 and became a Partner in 1989. I specialise in commercial, employment and property litigation and am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. I’m also an Authorised High Court Enforcement Officer. This means I can enforce High Court Judgements and Possession Orders, and transfer County Court Judgements for greater than £600 up to the High Court. I was a president of the Chester and North Wales Law Society, and I am currently the Vice-Chair of Chester Aid to the Homeless. I have also recently been appointed the Under Sheriff for Cheshire.
I particularly enjoy the challenge and rewards of settling complex employment tribunal cases and also have expertise in:
- Employment litigation
- Liquor licensing
Outside of the Law Courts, I have a passion for cricket and still play for my club side… admittedly, aided and abetted by Ibuprofen and Voltarol™. I also love watching rugby (Italy v Wales in Rome a particular favourite) and football and am a loyal fan of Chester FC.
