David qualified as a Solicitor in 1975 before joining the firm in 1981 where he was made a Partner in 1984.
David specialises in:
- Agricultural tenancies;
- The sale and purchase of farms;
- Rural diversification;
- Options and other arrangements for residential and commercial disposals including minerals and landfill;
- Creation and management of trusts for asset preservation;
- Estate and tax planning;
- Wills.
David is a member of the Agricultural Law Association, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and the Country Land & Business Association. He is currently the Under Sheriff of the County of Cheshire and is a former member of the Council of the High Sheriffs Association. David is also recommended in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500.
David is married with three adult daughters. He enjoys living in the countryside, gardening, and spending time with his family. He is also a keen sportsman and, although he is restricted to mainly watching cricket and hockey these days, he still manages to play the occasional game for Deeside Ramblers Hockey Club.
