Nicholas joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1973 and has worked in various legal departments including Wills, Probate Estates & Trusts , Residential Property, Employment and Charities.  For the past twenty years he has specialised in Company and Commercial law.

Nicholas deals with the acquisition and disposal of commercial freehold and leasehold property as well as company matters including:

  • Sales and purchases of hotels and licensed premises;
  • Sales and purchases of  golf courses;
  • Company acquisitions and disposals;
  • Company formations;
  • Joint ventures and franchise agreements;

Nicholas also acts on behalf of a number of Charities providing advice on matters including Charity formation and incorporation of Charities; Charity Commission Schemes; structural advice; and dealing with Charity land.

Nicholas is a past President of Chester and North Wales Law Society and Chester City Club, and is also a past Captain of Eaton Golf Club.

He is a keen golfer and walker, and an avid reader of thrillers.  He has travelled widely on holiday and business acting for several clients abroad.
