Mortgages, Equity Release and Personal Protection

Expert Mortgage Advice
We know how important getting the right mortgage advice and the right mortgage is for our clients.

Whether you are a first-time buyer, a home mover, downsizing or upsizing, or just looking to source a better mortgage deal we will research the most suitable mortgage scheme for you. We understand that whilst your home is your castle to live in and a welcoming place to entertain your friends and family it is probably your biggest financial commitment.

With over 30 years’ experience we can advise on:
  • Residential mortgages
  • Buy to let mortgages (for both personal and limited company applicants)
  • Retirement mortgage schemes
  • Special mortgage schemes for holiday homes
  • Second Charge Lending

When you choose to become one of our clients, we will work with you to find a mortgage scheme that is right for your own needs. We will provide written advice and keep you involved as we move through the mortgage application process with you.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it.
There may be a fee for mortgage advice, the precise amount of the fee will depend upon your circumstances but we estimate that it will be £795.

Equity Release and Later Life Lending
If you are over 55 and a home owner or home mover Equity Release or Later Life Lending could be an option for you.

We are authorised to advise you on Equity Release including lifetime mortgages and home reversion schemes. Equity Release can be used to raise funds on an existing home or to fund the purchase of another property. We are experts in this field, have access to the latest products and we follow the principles and rules of the Equity Release Council and their code of practice.

Equity release schemes can be helpful in certain circumstances but are not suitable for everyone. They can be expensive and inflexible if your circumstances change. They may also affect your entitlement to state or local authority benefits.

Equity Release: This is a lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration. There may be a fee for equity release advice, the precise amount of the fee depends on your circumstances, but we estimate that it will be £995.

Personal Protection
We offer all of our clients advice on personal protection cover including life assurance, critical illness and income protection.

We can advise on cover for your mortgage or in conjunction with your financial planning. Whether you are employed or self-employed we will research the whole of the market to help source cover to provide you and your family with financial protection in the event of a claim.

Our first meeting is free of charge, with no obligation
At this meeting we will discuss your circumstances and requirements and discuss ‘options and costs’. If we believe we can help you, and you feel we are the right firm for you, then you can instruct us to advise you.
